Please note that from the 4th July 2023 MIDAS will no longer support the uploading of xlsx/xls files.


MDS will be performing routine maintenance on their IT systems on Thursday 10th July between 12 noon and 3 pm. During the maintenance period MIDAS will be unavailable.


In order to improve performance and efficiency, MDS are installing new server infrastructure, commencing 8am on Sunday 13/07/2025 and lasting for the majority of the day. MID1, MID2, New MID2, MID2 type 2, MID check API, SFTP, API, Email, MIDAS, MTPL & all other MDS Platforms will all be offline for the duration of the upgrade work.

Our MID2, MID1 and New MID2 uploads will all be scheduled earlier on Sunday morning to ensure their round trip to MID is completed before the installation begins. Once the work has been completed, all outstanding MID uploads for MID2, MID1 and New MID2 will be sent to MID although the exact time of these uploads will be dependent on when the installation is completed.

Monday morning’s MID run is expected to run as scheduled with all services back online late on Sunday.
